Pomona, CA — May 15, 2026 — The Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA (IVHS) is updating its Spay/Neuter service pricing as part of its ongoing commitment to providing accessible, community-centered veterinary care for local pet owners.
As families across the region continue to face rising costs, IVHS remains focused on balancing affordability with the ability to sustain critical animal wellness services that help reduce pet overpopulation and keep pets healthy, safe, and in loving homes.
Effective immediately, the updated pricing structure is as follows:
- Cats: $100 Includes vaccines and flea treatment. Microchipping is not included.
- Dogs: $150 Vaccines and flea treatment are available separately upon request. Dogs weighing > 60 lbs. will incur an additional $50 fee.
- Microchips: $25 While not mandatory, microchipping is strongly encouraged to help reunite lost pets with their families.
Our Breed-specific & TN(V)R programs will remain unchanged and continue to be available exclusively to residents within the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA and San Gabriel Valley Humane Society service areas.
“Spaying and neutering pets remains one of the most important ways we can work together as a community to reduce pet homelessness and improve animal welfare,” said Nikole Bresciani, President/CEO. “These updates help ensure we can continue providing these essential services to the families and pets who rely on us every day.”
IVHS emphasizes that preventative veterinary care not only benefits individual pets but also strengthens the community by reducing stray populations, easing overcrowding in shelters, and promoting responsible pet ownership.
