how do I become a volunteer?

Volunteer applications are on pause until January 2nd, 2025: Just like our four-legged friends sometimes need a moment to settle into a comfy bed, we’re taking this time to fetch a better, more enriching experience for both our volunteers and shelter animals by temporarily pausing new volunteer onboarding. This break allows us to prepare for an exciting and impactful year ahead. Stay tuned for the exciting updates, as we can’t wait to resume our volunteer adventures with you in 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

CHECK BACK JANUARY 2ND, 2025

want to volunteer as a corporation/
organization group?

The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. enthusiastically welcomes volunteer groups, including those from corporations, schools, and scouting organizations, within our service area. We serve the communities of Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Covina, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas, and we provide sheltering services for the City of La Habra. Join us in our commitment to compassion and advocacy for animals by volunteering with your group today.

Please note that group requests should be made at least one month in advance from the desired service date.

Due to a high volume of requests, we are now booked through February 2025. To manage our schedule effectively, we are temporarily pausing new group volunteer requests. We appreciate your understanding and will provide updates once we are able to accommodate more groups.
