Give Love, Get Rewarded
This program aims to achieve two significant goals: first, to provide an opportunity for our long-term large breed dogs to find loving homes outside of the shelter environment, and second, to alleviate the strain on our overcrowded shelter.
Minimum 2-Week Foster Period
We kindly request a minimum commitment of two weeks from our fosters. This period ensures that our dogs receive the care, stability, and love they deserve during their transitional phase.
Explore and Socialize
Fosters are encouraged to take their foster dogs out and about to dog-friendly places, where they are welcome. It’s a fantastic opportunity for both the dog and the foster to enjoy new experiences together.
Safety First
Whenever your foster dog is in public, please ensure they always wear a harness and leash. It’s important to pick up after them to maintain cleanliness and respect for the community.
Foster Perks
As a token of our gratitude, once your foster commitment comes to an end, you will receive a $200 gift card as our way of saying thank you for your dedication and compassion.
Finding Forever Homes
If you successfully find a permanent placement for your foster dog before the conclusion of your foster commitment, you will not only receive the $200 gift card but also an additional bonus of $100. We truly appreciate your efforts in helping our furry friends find their forever families.
Supplies for Success
To ensure a smooth transition, each dog will be sent home with a supply kit that includes everything they need: a bag of food, bowls, toys, enrichment items, a cozy bed, harness, leash, potty pads, a poop bag dispenser with bags, and a collar with a foster tag.
