My Story
Approximate weight: 66 lbs. Boba is a delight both in the home and out exploring the world. His joy of playing with a ball is contagious. He is likely to approach for pets by sitting or lying at your feet, quietly affectionate, not a smother-you-with-kisses type of dog. Boba accepts corrections well and learned/remembered not to potty inside in just one day. He does have a tendency to kick dramatically after potty breaks but has also learned to tone it down a little. He does not try to jump over gates, burst through doors or do much counter surfing. Boba will stay by your side if he has the chance but does not seem anxious to be in his own space. He is not a particularly vocal dog, reserving his barks for when they're most called for. He eats his meals casually, and can take or leave treats, but if you approach with a ball in your hand, you will have his attention! Boba is a striking Akita/shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. True to his breeds, he's smart, active, and always up for some fun. During playtime, Boba comes to life. He loves tennis balls, zooming around the yard, and happily splashing in the doggy pool when invited. He's responsive to cues and easy to handle on leash, making outings a breeze.Boba is a dog who appreciates calm leadership, room to play, and someone who gets his energetic, loyal, slightly mischievous spirit. With the right person, he's going to make an incredible companion.
