Prevent Overpopulation, Promote Health: Spay & Neuter huskies
Spaying and neutering Huskies and Husky mixes is crucial to control their population, improve their health, and promote better behavior. By preventing unplanned litters, we can reduce the strain on shelters and rescue organizations. Additionally, spaying and neutering helps prevent certain health issues and reduces aggressive tendencies, resulting in happier and healthier pets. This program costs only $150 and includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, vaccines, and a flea treatment.

This program is open to residents, both inside and outside, of our service areas. It is intended to help curb the amount of Huskies entering the shelter every year.

qualifying dogs
- The dog must be owned by an individual — no rescue groups, foster organizations, shelter animals or strays will be allowed to participate.
- Dog must be a Husky or a predominately Husky mix and be 4 months of age or older.
