Expanded Low-Cost Veterinary Services Available Starting January 6, 2025

Pomona, CA: Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, the Alex & Elisabeth Lewyt Medical Center will expand its veterinary services, offering high-quality care to more pets and their owners, regardless of their location. These enhanced services will now be accessible to all residents and will include spay/neuter procedures and community clinic appointments for basic sick care and preventive veterinary care. Please note that mobile spay/neuter and TNR services will remain exclusively available to residents within the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. (IVHS) service area.

Special Veterinary Services Packages:

Dog Spay/Neuter Packages: Breed-specific spay/neuter packages are offered for just $150, which include spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, vaccines, and one month of flea treatment.

  • Pit Stop: $150
  • Shepherd Shuffle: $150
  • Husky Hustle: $150

Eligibility Criteria: Dogs must be 4 months of age or older, be full-breed or predominant mixes of the listed breeds, and services are available exclusively for individually owned dogs (no rescue groups, fosters, shelter animals, or strays). Appointments are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cat Spay/Neuter Package – The Big Meow: For just $120, cats receive spay/neuter surgery, FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, a one-month supply of flea treatment, basic medical care at the time of surgery, and a microchip. This program is available to all residents, and payment is required at the time of scheduling and is non-refundable.
