Pomona, CA – The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. (IVHS) is inviting you to make the holidays extra special by adopting a loving shelter pet. With over 70 adoptable animals in our care, each patiently waiting for a loving home, this December is the perfect time to find your forever companion. To celebrate the season, all adoptions are just $24 throughout the month.
Looking to Adopt?
IVHS has implemented an adoption process that provides a smooth experience for adopters, their families, and the shelter animals:
- Morning Appointments: From 9am to 11am Monday through Saturday, visitors can use the Waitwhile queue system, with the last appointment scheduled at 11am. During this time, animals will be brought out to meet adopters. No walk-throughs will occur as staff focuses on essential animal care.
- Afternoon Walk-Throughs: From 1pm to 5pm Monday through Saturday, the kennels will be open for guests to walk through. Visitors must check in with our Adoption Department by 5pm to adopt that day.
For added convenience, our online animal photo gallery updates hourly, allowing you to preview pets before your visit. Click on a photo to see more details about any animal.
Bark After Dark featuring Happy Meower
Join us on December 11th for Bark After Dark featuring Happy Meower, our evening adoption event where all fees are waived. During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to watch our playgroup rockstars in action. These social and friendly large dogs will showcase their personalities as they interact and play, making it easier than ever for you to find your perfect match. Not to mention, we have many adoptable cats and kittens ready to steal your heart!
