The Inland Valley Humane Society has a wonderful volunteer program for individuals 18 years and older. Orientations take place six times per year. Check out the calendar for the next orientation or call for a volunteer packet to be sent to you.
The volunteers at IVHS enhance the lives of the animals and help educate prospective adopters by assisting them in choosing the right companion animal. The program is designed to be flexible in order to accommodate the busy lifestyle of today’s volunteer.
Volunteers undertake a variety of tasks. Some tasks are performed at the shelter, others, like our fostering program can be performed at the home, while additional opportunities take place throughout the community.

The opportunities for our volunteers are endless! Just some spare minutes, self motivation and the desire to “make-a-difference” is all that is needed to be an important member of the team.
