Ontario coucilman calls for action against livestock business June 6, Ontario, Calif. — Councilman Jim Bowman is calling on the city to take action against a local business owner who is facing animal cruelty charges.
Bowman called on city staffers to review its municipal code to ensure that the practice of animal abuse is stopped at Ontario Livestock Sales. Bowman, who made the request at Tuesday's council meeting, said he was appalled to hear about the conditions at Ontario Livestock Sales, which is one of the oldest and largest auction houses in the region.
