Properly I.D. your Pets

Did You Know...

that less than 1% of all rescued animals that come into IVHS & SPCA have any form of identification on them. (license tag, pet I.D. tag or microchip) In the state of California, every dog over the age of 4 months, must be vaccinated against rabies and must be licensed through your local animal care and control agency.

Help ensure a safe return home for your pet by updating your current information. You can update your new address or telephone number with your local animal care and control agency and update your information with your microchip provider.

Often in our life we tend to overlook the small minor things and put it off another day. Let’s make sure in 2012 that we update our information for the chance that if our pet becomes lost that they can be reunited with their families again.
