7th Annual Woofstock Dog Walk FAQs

Q: Do I have to have a dog to participate?

A: No! You can choose to walk alone, with or without your dogs. Many people participate in the walk without their pet. Do you have feline friends? Consider letting them cat-nap the morning away (what cat wants to be seen in public with a bunch of dogs, anyway?), and join us in their honor. After all, IVHS helps all animals in need! The annual IVHS dog walk supports our adoption, rescue and rehabilitation programs. Can't make it to the walk on Saturday, May 31st? Consider becoming a virtual walker! You can still create your own fundraising page and the money you raise will help more than 18,000 animals whose lives are touched each year by the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A.

Q: How much does it cost to participate?

A: The 7th Annual Woofstock is a free pledge walk which means participants are encouraged to raise funds for the animals by collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers, etc. The more money you raise the more prizes you and your-four-legged friend earn( to qualify for the 7th Annual Woofstock Dog Walk t-shirt you must raise a minimum of $75).

Q: Can I buy extra Woofstock t-shirts and dog bandanas?

A: Any remaining t-shirts will be available for purchase the week following the event. Extra dog scarves may be purchased at the event for $5.00 each (subject to availability).

Q: How many dogs can I bring to the event?

A: You are allowed to bring as many dogs as you feel you are able to handle. All dogs should be on a 6 ft. leash or shorter. Please only bring your dog if he/she will enjoy being around other dogs and people.

Q: What happens if it rains that morning?

A: The event will take place rain or shine!

Q: How long is the walk?

A: The walk route is 1, 2 or 3-mile and you can choose how far you and your dog would like to walk.

Q: Will water be provided?

A: Yes! Water will be provided for both you and your dog along the walk route and throughout the site area.
